This number called my elderly mums number, I answered, they said it was something to do with Windows then mentioned computer, I told them not to ring this number again that there was no computer at the property and to remove our number from their database, I was rudely informed that if they were to do that we would be charged, and they could ring as many times as they wished.
I don't who called but I suspect it was as scam
Running a 1 ring callback scam. Not sure if I was auto-charged for the <1min call, called "cramming". Thankfully Android lets you filter calls so wont happen again - also 070 and 076... put that crap OS to work!
A recorded voice indicates an outstanding tax issue. Asking you to press 1 to be connected. Failure to do so will result in a warrant for your arrest (on the grounds of tax fraud) being issued. Her Majesty's Inspector of taxes would not phone if there was an issue. They would write to you. They know your address, but fraudsters and scammers like this do not. Do not press to accept the call. if you do they will know the number is in use an probably sell your number on to more scammers.

Got a call from this number stating that it is an investment company and they had my details (phone number, full names and surname, an investment account number, and my credit card number. They claimed I had a small balance with them and they wanted to refund it to me, I said I have no knowledge of an account or refund due. Very rude and vague. The caller claims that is from PTI, but he doesn t want to go into more details abut the reason of calling. He insists on being put through the Managing Director. If you ask more questions regarding the company he is calling from he hangs up.
