Fraud My mum got a bill for £45 for this number that said she was on the phone for 25 minutes but she's never rang this number. She gets alot of calls that hang up so it might be one of them that has somehow not disconnected the call and reversed the charge. Be wary

Asked for me by name. I asked who was calling. He said it was in response to my putting my name down for more information and asked me what kind of investing I was looking to do. I answered "where was it that I put my name down?" *click* he hung up immediately. He never called back (that was yesterday) Very dodgy.

Cam call from a company called Alliance Hide Solutions (or Alliance Hive Solutions?) about a non existent car crash. I am on the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) which should prevent scam calls. Where do these people get out telephone numbers from? So annoying. Harassment.

There are some dodgy people going around London fixing stickers to peoples doorbells and front doors that say "24/7 LOCKSMITH 07379 253 353". There have been news reports that these type of stickers are used by criminals to identify which properties can later be burgled. This may or may not be the case with these stickers but any locksmith that advertises by sticking stickers on other peoples property without permission, are untrustworthy in my book. Just cut off any number beginning with 0333 without answering. There will be somebody on the other end of the line a couple of seconds after you've picked trying to sell you something. Mainly mobile phone contracts.

Fraud: Be careful.Caller claims to be saying that there is suspicious activity on visa debit card.Did not identify bank or building society.Caller advises to press certain digit on phone to rectify situation.I just ended without pressing any number digit.I did not want to be a victim of fraud or scam call.
