SPAM called today said, (Asian called Jack! Lol) T-Mobile- explained my number was recorded with TPS and all incoming calls are recorded and monitored. After saying it a second time caller still persisted in talking, after me asking what the TPS meant to him he hung up. Number blocked.

I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.

Call centre call. Company claimed to be Global Marketing something. She proceeded to call me Mr William (my first name) and said they had done a search on me and found that I had been scammed (untrue) (my new isp did a search on me last week and found no trace of me online) She asked me to tell her what happened. Automated call on 17th June 2022 saying from Scottish Gas. Can't remember what else it said but it said to Press 1. The minute I heard that I put the phone down. I am not with Scottish Gas anyway so presumed this is a scam call.
As this number is listed as a number in a region of Russia I am assuming it is a scam. I do not know anyone living in Russia!
