Claimed that my internet was going to be disconnected, and to press 1 to talk to my ISP. I pressed '1' for fun and when answered I said that I thought it was a scam and wondered why I was being called. The person on the other end of the line swore at me for about 10 seconds and then hung up on me. All great fun.
These Transcom a holes obviously don t even check the numbers they ve been given before calling them. Transcom left a computerised message demanding that someone should call them. I ve never given out my number, had no dealings with Transcom, and the person they were asking for has never, to my knowledge, lived here or used this number. Claimed to be a company called ESS. They said that they were aware that I had a boiler over 10 years old and that they were agents for Zanussi. When I told them that the number was registered with the TPS, the call was disconnected.
