I was contacted by these people and when I pointed out that my number was registered with the TPS I was told this it was not a sales call but an advisory call! I have made a written complaint pointing out that they are breaking the Claims Management Regulation rules and that I will be reporting them to the Regulator. I have also reported them to the ICO.

Six calls so far today, each one claims to be from BT and calling about my internet. When I say that they're not who they are they either hang up or argue that they are from BT. If asked to remove my number they do the same, then I get another call an hour or so later. They do not take no for an answer. Obviously using false names, company name and a number which purports to be in UK.

Rang this morning at 9.12am and said they were Utilia (or similar) ringing about my gas and electric supply and smart meters. Said I wasn't interested and put the phone down, they've now rung a further 4 times at 13.17, 14.07,14.43 and 16.53. I haven't answered these later calls and consider them to be bordering on harassment.
They answer with "Reactive Group" and ask You for the number you received your missed call on! As IF I'm going to give them THAT info!!

This number and more simular 0161 939 numbers keeps ringing my landline, despite being registered with TPS for 3 years. Everytime I answered the phone to them, it is same storyline again. Some chap tells me that will be receiving a letter in the post about my PPI claim I made. Please do send me this PPI information through the post with the info you have on file, I always tell them that. Can you please confirm your address with me, this chap replies back to me. SCAM They left a voicemail saying something about me not being able to use my national insurance number anymore. The voicemail was a digital voice and the message was incomplete. Tried calling back as I always like to wind them up but they didn't answer. I've blocked their number and if it was genuine then I'm sure they'll find another way to communicate with me.
