Please be aware this a scam. We originally received an email from Geoff Williams requesting a quotation. The email address is [email protected]. I called Birmingham University direct and was informed that this is a scam.

Called using my first name only (overly familiar I find). I asked where they got my number and the man didn't answer, just said they were calling about life insurance on behalf of Lloyds, Scottish Widows to name two that I remember. I said I don't engage in conversations about any such matters on the phone and asked them to take my number off their list and hung up. Have blocked number.

Scam - Did not answer the call, but following reading all the comments on here I called my bank who confirmed no issues with my account. Do not discuss any info with these people it is a scam

I*iot stating that he got my name from the office of fair trading regarding unsecured loan. What a wally. Dont bother he's really really boring!!

Indian sounding man claiming to be from BT, swore CONTINUALLY after I said he had wrong number - called back times in a row when I replaced receiver swearing and shouting, vile and dangerous.

Robotic message saying my IP address has been hacked and internet will be stopped within 24 hours. Can replace IP address free of charge. Just hanged up and reported to my provider.

had a few calls from this number (6) all in 1 day, they never spoke when i answered but thats nothing new. just another idiot who thinks it's funny to cold call random people for no reason.

People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck. Some idea who is it?

Fraud Says my national insurance number has been compromised on north Wales border and am going to be prosecuted unless I press and speak to their chief legal officer now. They'll take down my name and insurance number and destroy my life basically...
