RoboCall “Millie” from Gotham Agency saying that I’ve been involved in a car accident.

Had two calls from this number this afternoon and twice yesterday

Silent call. I didn t say "hello" on pick up. That usually triggers any recorded calls. No one the other end said "hello" etc.
nSo another crap call.

Asking if I'd been in a traffic accident in the last few years, so I hung up !!

Missed any message but caught "Message is being recorded" then hung up.

Rang me at this morning and abruptly cut off.

A scam number. Threatening tax evation and criminal case asking to press 1. Cut the call.

Appears to be an American number. No idea who it is. Checked with family in USA and not known to them either

The guy who called could hardly speak English and said that I needed to update all of my details with him today otherwise, no one would be able to reach me by telephone or via my web site. I asked who he was calling from and he didn t say, so i asked him to delete my number from his call list. I think he then said he would ensure my entire records would be deleted and slammed down the telephone. Bon Chance!!

A man called my telephone to ask me to access my computer so he can fix the issue with the internet connection. I had not reported a fault, he was not calling from my provider and used a wrong mame for me. So, I hung up. The following day I discovered that the internet connection on my son s laptop had indeed been disabled! He must have visited a dodgy website but it is worrying that they could retrieve my telephone number from it.

Just received a call from these people claiming to be providing access to some sort of discount club and that they would send a welcome pack in the post. They asked how many holidays I have a year and whether they are abroad or not (in hindsight maybe that’s to determine disposable income). They asked who I bank with and I refused to answer. This number left me a voicemail saying they were calling from Inland Revenue and to ring them back. If I did not ring back I should expect legal action. Definitely a scam
