Number came up as "The Graham Arms Inn". Caller claimed to represent Vodafone but was unable to tell me my name (I'm a Vodafone customer). When pressed for an answer he hung up.

Blag rang it back several times can tell from the first message that comes up its a scam and when Ive rang back all sounds like members of the same family amp having rang the real Scottish power over several times for different reasons I know the actual Scottish power numberampvoicemail block this if it calls you its very high risk in my opinion

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. SPAM I think! Number sends a (Covid-19) SMS alert message: NHS: You've recenty been in close contact with a confirmed case. You must book a test kit: https://my-pcr-order.com But, the SMS does not actually mention Covid-19! And, the website it takes you to appears to be the genuine NHS website, where it explicitly says you no longer have to isolate or do a lateral flow test, and there is no information on how to get a pcr test now that Test and Trace no longer operates!!!

Called me saying they are the Carphone Warehouse and were trying to get me to buy laptops, phones and tablets. The line was pretty rubbish so I'm not sure if this was a scam as I'm sure the Carphone Warehouse don't just randomly call up numbers.

My wife answered the phone, and an apparently recorded message said that there was a suspicious transaction involving a £300 bill from Amazon which had not been paid. Then she was asked to press some number at which point she ended the call. I found the callers number by using 1471. The call appears to be a scam.

SCAM Called about a non existent accident in January 2022. It seemed to be a follow-up call to the one I had this afternoon when I gave the date of the accident as January 2022. That call came from 0208 050 5310.

SCAM called with an automated message saying that it's from the tax office and I owe tax and to prevent going to jail that I needed to press 1 to answer them. I haven't worked in over 20years so I don't pay tax so not even the smallest possibility that I would owe any. Also the tax office would never contact you by phone. Just and scam to steal money. Why don't they get a proper job.

I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!

SCAM States payments to Amazon and 1 other need to be authorised. Wants you to engage with them. Using area code to try to scam you. Beware

Beware !! They are scammers pretending to be police, saying my national insurance number and bank account were compromised and tried to instruct me to download Revolut to protect my savings !

SCAM Foreign sounding man asked if my name was ###### when I answered "Who's asking?" he hung up. Number has now been blocked.
