Just got a call from this number - automated voice said there's a problem with my National Insurance number and there has been potential fraudulent activity relating to my National Insurance number. Then said press 1 to speak to an agent. I hung up. Definitely a SCAM.

Please DO NOT respond to this call. I have checked with HMRC. It is entirely fraudulent. The scammers are requesting you call them back to pay a supposed tax bill. HMRC do not call in this way. Apparently the scammers are using a lot of 0203 numbers. Plea

SCAM - Called pretending to be SKY trying to falsely improve my internet speeds just to get access to my computer. DO NOT TRUST THIS NUMBER. THEY ARE NOT SKY. SCAMMER ALERT.

It’s automated when you answer, claims there’s tax fraud against your name and to press 1 to stop a warrant being issued for your arrest. Pressed 1 and a foreign women answer saying it’s HMRC and if your working or self employed. Ask for my name and when i said for them to tell me as they were the one who called the line goes dead

Keep calling at different times of the day but I haven't had chance to answer until today. I knew it was a scam call by the amount of times they'd tried to ring and not left a message. Today I accepted call but didn't speak, put them on speaker phone and left them to ramble on about an accident I'd so say had (!).... soon got bored of no response and they hung up. Pain in the arse.. block number!

Automated call stating national insurance number has been linked to serious crimes and to press 1 to speak to an officer. It then goes on to say if you do not press 1 to speak to an officer you will be arrested.
