This is a market research company called GSKNOP. I had daily hang up calls from them then eventually spoke to a human who wanted to do a 20 min financial questionnaire but gave me the Market Research Society phone number so I said if they didn t take my name/number off their data base that I d report them to the MRS. I haven t heard from them since.

I answered 'Hello', and then heard 'office' sounds. Then an asian gentleman laughed, at my answer. I replaced the handset.

I ve had this . I just said : " Cut me off then" and she hung up.

2 weeks ago I answered and a lady with very little knowledge in englsih talked to me. She could not say the company name or anything. I told her to delete my cell phone number completely and said I wasn t interested at all in anything she could say. Despite this that number has called me in average 2-3 times a day... for 2 weeks.. As there is no company name to be told - I suspect they re nothing but hackers.. But can t say for sure.

Asked where she received the information from but was transferred to Soloman. He in turn hung up when I said i d like copies of the information that he stated was supplied. Called this morning just before 8.30 am. As the number was unrecognised it was allowed to go to the answering machine. The call was terminated almost immediately.

Just received a call from this number asking if we take American Express - I advised no and asked what company they were from assuming it was a customer. He just said he was exploring opportunities for points on his cards. This number appears to be associated with American Express but it would be nice if they were honest about the reason for their call. Call back not possible as I would have asked to be removed from their database.
