Received a call from 'Andrew' allegedly from the technical department of BT who told me my internet connection would be disconnected in 2 hours. I asked where he was phoning from and he said the BT Tower in London. He said I had a lot of problems with my connection over the last few days so they were going to disconnect me. I told him I had registered number with TPS and it was illegal to phone a registered number. He said I couldn't have registered with the police as how could he call me! I repeated this a

Immediately thought it was fraudulent but on contacting my bank directly was told this is genuine call from TSB. Advised me to call the number which I did only to be spoken to by someone who I could barely understand. This number should be a landline from areas of Doncaster, Tickhill and Stainforth - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck.
