I said no I didn t so she said could I tell her correct address to put their record straight. I said don t bother, and hung up. I should have asked what record and why? Do they come up with a ficticious address hoping you will tell them the correct address?

As with the comments above I received two calls from HMRC saying they were filing a lawsuit against me. I was told to press 1 to speak to a case officer who had a strong Indian accent, asked me to spell my name and confirm my address (which I didnt and put the phone down).

A polite chap called Alex said he was aware I had been receiving unsolicited calls. His company was supposedly able to provide a call-blocking device to eliminate silent and international calls, an upgrade to the standard TPS for a low weekly payment equating to a one off payment of £99.99.
