The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. I had somebody come to the house and quote me on new windows. They said that they were doing a discount because of some government scheme but after quoting me a ridiculous price the salesman informed me that the discount was suddenly going to run out and that I had about 24 hours to agree to buy the windows. The person who came to the house was very polite but the company don t have a good reputation, and the prices are ridiculous, I d recommend not answering.
