SCAM 00916594435990 claimed to be BT Openreach wanting to connect to my computer to remove hackers from my broadband line.
Suspicious because the speaker sounded Indian or Asian and wanted to access my computer to ascertain its security. Said they were from TomTom but I felt very uneasy.

From 118-online asking for a survey. Don't speak when answered and numerous calls from same number at same time using clogging up all lines so no one else can ring in, meaning our customers get sent to voicemail. Have emailed 118-online [who's website seems a bit dodgy] and had assurances that our number[s] are taken from their list, but that obviously has not happened. So OFCOM here we come.

Potential scam, American-sounding woman claimed to be from “something or other” from Amazon. I couldn’t make out what it was she said as the line kept crackling, sounded like Ice something but it didn’t make sense so I told her I’d never heard of it and ended the call.

This number called several times, during last 2 weeks, on our fixed number in Belgium, but we weren't present. We looked up the number with the belgian nummer 1919. This morning we received another call, when I took the phone a male voice only says "hello" after I said "hallo". I heard a tape on the background. Suspected, because we don't have contacts in Great-Brittain,neither in Whaley, "Leasyn Vehicle Leasing&contract hire" on google maps???

i answered the phone then he said who is there which i didn t answer to so I asked him who he was but he put the phone down on me but to whoever it was there he had a lot of noise like a radio a group of other people in the background talking loudly.
Got a missed call today at 16:25. No message left and when I looked it up said it was a bathroom company!?!?!? Presume a marketing call. Another one added to my blocked list.

Believe that this number could be associated with Bank Payment scams. I had an automated call from the bank stating that they has identified to suspicions payments against my account and would I confirm 'yes'; or 'no'. When I confirmed that I knew nothing about them I was put through this number which was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member of the Bank Fraud team. A comment he made got me suspicious and I rang off/blocked

My 81 year old father was targeted and asked to insure his 4 year old Indesit washing machine. Unwittingly he set up a d.debit which he cancelled the next day, with the bank, when he realised he already had cover. He rang Appliance Serve and told them too, he was asked to put it in writing which he did. He is now getting calls about his non payment and they are threateneing court action as they said they hadn t received a phone call or letter. Total fraudsters targeting the elderly. #scammers

SCAM: BT SCAMMER ... Indian/Pakistani ? man called to say my BT service Lloyds Bank Direct Debit needed verifying, I played along and gave false numbers on my debit card (to see how far they wished to go), they already new my name , address, phone number. Well, actually I don't bank at Lloyds anyway!, they then asked for my DOB, so I gave a false one of course. Then they offered me a 50% discount for 5 years on my account (that's mighty generous what). I was handed over to a CLOSER manager who said my card
