We assumed they were Domestic and General (who we've had policy with for years) as they knew our dishwasher cover was about to expire. Gave them bank details and renewed. Thought it was strange as it felt fishy. Phoned Domestic and General who said it wasn't them so now we are covered by two companies. Now trying to get some money back from Domestic Assure. Shouldn't have given bank details but they knew about our machine so convincing.

They phoned me a few minutes ago. The woman on the other end of the line knew my name, but asked to me confirm it. Then she went straight into her bullsh!t spiel:- "Our records show that you ve done industrial work in the past. Is that true?" Needless to say I ve never done any so-called "industrial work" in my entire life. So, the whole thing was just a fishing expedition. You know the really annoying thing? Received a call from this number on March 18th. Once I said hello, the man calling introduced himself as someone from a Financial Guidance organisation. I asked him not to call back as I wasn t interested and that I had already registered my number with TPS, at which point he became abusive and starting swearing at me, then hung up.
