Barclaycard Fraud prevention. Its an automated line (At least it was for me) Their system will ask you to confirm your name, as well as your date of birth. Then it will list some recent transactions that their system has flagged as possibly fraudulent. All you then need to do is press 1 to confirm the transactions as your own/authorised by you, or 2 to decline. For me i just had to press 1. For others it may be a matter of pressing 2 and then you may actually have to talk to someone. I cant say for sure.
Just had a call from this number, it was a man, and he asked for me by what will eventually be my married name, guessing it was one of those annoying calls I replied with "...
this number sent me a text saying that I had won 486000 pounds and asked me to send personal details by text reply. you'd have to be pretty gullable to fall for that.
