Caller said he was from BT and would arrange for an engineer to call round in the next 2 days to install a device that would stop nuisance calls it would last for 15 years. The cost would be a one off charge of £8. Did I want to proceed with getting my line configured. I work in the industry the caller sounded amateurish but could see how other people might be taken in.
Silence. I hung up. Picked up the phone again and a computer voice was saying something then hung up - it was the 01618182519 number

I am expecting another variation of these to call sooner or later. Getting seriously pissed off with these cunts.
