When I dialed the number, it was out of order, so it looks like this call was from an overseas number that was spoofing a UK dial-back number.

Keep calling my elderly father. Say they're from BT and threatening to cut off his connection. When I phone them back they don't answer but it's a Sky voicemail.

This person rung and claimed to be from TalkTalk and tried to get me to do something to my computer when I said he was a bogus caller he started making loads of insulting and threatening remarks towards me and my family. Barred number now.

These Transcom a holes obviously don t even check the numbers they ve been given before calling them. Transcom left a computerised message demanding that someone should call them. I ve never given out my number, had no dealings with Transcom, and the person they were asking for has never, to my knowledge, lived here or used this number. It's a company called First Contact by Utilita. I was called on my mobile and they hung up. A return call revealed they were a call centre and I have now blocked the number.
