Absolute con. I googled the number for Argos in Norwich and got the 118469 number and thought it looked odd but dialled it to find it was a directory. They asked what number I wanted and I said oh I thought I was calling Argos. They said no but would you like the number so I said yes. Surely they gave an obligation to tell me I would be charged £7 to have it read out to me! A total scam and rip off.

called saying they were from HMRC saying a warrant for my arrest will be issued unless i pay, total scam out to scare people into paying, DO NOT PRESS 1 AND DO NOT PAY THEM!!!!

Friday 12.10.2018. I have just received a call from this number (purporting to be from BT ) to tell me that my BT account had been compromised and that I must press 1 to speak to the technician. Fortunately I was already aware that all calls of this nature are scams. and have been reported on a variety of other numbers. Beware of calls from 01822 853955!

these people have rung me on 3 different numbers today, offering me help with PPI claims which are already completed. they say they go deeper than other companies.
