Silent call hung up as soon as I answered
A person called requesting that I was able to provide them with details about myself and my occupation to whom I currently am employed with. When I asked why they wanted this information, they paused and said it was for 'business analytical research'.

SPAM Firm called Trading World Centre - refused to provide a number to call them back on or who their regulatory body is.
Called office wanting to talk to our IT-manager. Was vague and did not introduce herself. After asking, she informed me she was calling from Dell, but gave no further comment. Since we are an Apple-only business and she was vague, my spider senses tells me to block this caller.

Caller claimed to be from BT openreach calling about internet issues. They asked me to run a speed test and when I said I had 69 download and 18 upload they said that the difference was an issue. When I pointed out that it was always like that, and wasn't supposed to be the same they hung up. Obviously a scam.

Male on this number rattled off who he was too quick to understand who he was representing. Then with quite assertiveness started to ask me personal questions about my property. I refused to answer any of his questions and phone was disconnected.
Im not from the uk. And the guy that called me was clearly indian but spoke english. Never gave his name or company that he called for. obvious scam is obvious.

This is a scam phone number. I received a call from "Currys PC World" regarding new phone deals. Similar to other reviews, speaking with someone with an Indian accent (however his English has improved since the other reviews were left).

Suspected fraud Automated call saying they are calling from Royal Mail because parcel hasn't been delivered twice as nobody was home and to press button for English or Chinese. Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). I am very suspicious, as I never got a call from Royal Mail from a mobile number, they normally leave a notification behind to pick it up yourself. Yet, another Solar Panel caller wanting to test our solar panels. Nothing more than a scam caller and told them so, if your panels are working, you can tell by the read outs and feed in tariff! If there is a fault, they wont work, if they are down and not working properly the read outs will tell you. The say they are employed to test the panels free of charge, all they will do is test and say your system can be improved. Be warned!
Telemarketing Sales call - supposedly from Three Mobile but I already have a business contract with Three and this caller is randomly trying to sell me a new handset. Sounds dodgy. Got a similar call a while ago and checked with actual Three and they didn't know anything about it. I said I'm in the middle of a business contract and I don't need new phones and they hung up on me.

Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Mum was suspicious, rang off, got the number by dialing 1471 then rang it back. Women who answered refused to give her name and said she hadn't called Mum and didn't work for a company.

No idea who this was no message left so obviously not someone I know.
Purported to be from ‘visa’ and had held a £100 payment on my card as it was for on line gambolling in the USA and seemed suspicious. Asked you to speak to an operative to get the payment removed from your account. Obvious criminal intent!
