No message left by this number. I dialled it back and it had one long ring tone as in U.S or Canadian calls. No one was answering there when I rang back.

I called the number back and was greeted with an answer achine that said I was called by 'AM Legal'

Said it was HMRC. Threatened legal action. Wording used - something like "face the consequences" shows it up as a scam. Also a recorded mechanical voice.

Like another person wrote on here, I said no to the insurance on the website, the person was friendly enough and accepted no thanks, but I didn t consent to my number being used in that way, only for delivery info (i.e. time slot) to be given. Always ask them security questions, they got the order number correct and I don t know if there is a scam where they say they ll take away the old appliance for free, and then somehow charge you or possibly sign you up for insurance even though you said no, idk. This number was given by a scammer to verify the call.... Beware Scam!!

Calling to confirm the delivery but tried to get into Domestic and General insurance cover without outright stating first off to ask if Insurance is required. Very polite and confirmed that I would NOT be signed up to an insurance plan. All the delivery bits were explained well, they re just doing a job, they should improve the initial wording a bit, probably why so many people are getting irate.
