Left a message "connect business solutions who have a direct contract with openreach" whatever that means - maybe they simply have a bt line. As a small business I advertise in Thomsons & Yell, so likely they ve bought my number from them. I suppose it s legitimate cold-calling.
Called from this number purporting to be from HMRC telling me I was implicated in a fraud and that I needed to press one to speak to a person at HMRC. Pressing 1 puts you through to a call centre that was obviously not in the UK. I suspect it is an attempt to get money fraudulently.
