I ve received a call on my mobile phone today from 0161 939 0236 telling me that I ve had a loan and I m entitled to a refund plus interest because I was mis sold the loan. In the first place neither my husband or myself have had a loan from our bank or on any credit card. The caller went on to name all the credit cards that I could own and from any bank (naming banks) that I may have had a card or loan from. crooks - internet scam

This individual chose to ring my house number asking for a club. The number was a business number previously but we haven t had nuisance calls on this scale before. After I told the guy he had the wrong number and to please remove it from his phone, he proceeded to ask if there were any girls available and said I sounded like a prostitute, as he had "lots of experience".
