SCAM / SPAM Called today wanting to speak to my father and became aggressive when I asked who he was and what he was calling about and refused to tell me.
This number was given to me by Visa Card Scammers, when I questioned the quality of the call. They asked for my bank sort code, (I gave them one that I knew from Coventry) Then in an effort to prove they were legit, proceeded to tell me where my bank was. This scam revolves around a supposed transaction from your bank card. Never tell these guys any real information.

They are an Indian call centre who use spoof caller ID numbers. Do not trust them! Block them with a call blocker (you may need to block VOIP calls)or answer the call something like this: "This is the FBI - we have you surrounded! Come out with your hands up! All units - GO! GO! GO!" That should make them hang up!

Best cold call ever. I answered, I was asked for by name and I asked who was calling. The fella said AMS Legal so I said I m not interested and put the phone down. They called back straight away and straight off the same person said what are you not insterested in? - I laughed and said are you for real to which he replied yes, very much and you ll never know about the opportunity that you ve just missed out on and hung up. Claims it is from a well known Telecom Company and Broadband provider (it is not). It is an attempt to get access to your computer. They will state that you have had broadband issues that they have picked this up from your hub (extremely unlikely, it is impossible to monitor every hub any ISP provides). It is an attempt to get remote access to your computer. ISP's do not use mobile numbers, they will always do a check as to who you are, these people do not even ask who you are as they do not know.
