Got a call from this number claiming I had been in an accident. When I asked them where they got my number from they said it was from accident statistics. I said no that is a lie where did you really get it from they said ok then hung up

I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!
Had this number call me today. Dualling code seems to be the Midlands. I don?t know anyone there.

Phoned my grandmother claiming to be 02 to upgrade her phone and then wanted her to swap to vodaphone as I came in she put it on loud speaker so I cancelled the call and blocked it so be careful as it could be a scam
a lady said I had 5 free tickets for euro millions for tonight, I asked politely for my number to be renoved as im not interested. she then said" well its a chance to win free money, im pretty sure you would be interested if you actually listened to what im telling you" she was quite aggressive! From another site it's a Cardiff code and a recorded voice suggests it's an hmrc source, but number it says to ring is a 0161 No. Advice is don't ring.
