He stated that it does not matter as ‘they’ can still access. Stated that I would contact Microsoft directly, he gave me another number, I was rumbled when I said I would call back and he asked for me to repeat the number, I’d not written it down! Microsoft do not engage in unsolicited cold calls, and likely not using mobile number
A woman claiming to be calling about energy research and deals available to us. We've been called many times by such companies who usually want to send round 'an energy assessor' for cavity and loft insulation. When I asked if it was a cold call and that we were registered with TPS, she said not at all so that wouldn't apply to her call (blatantly untrue). She feigned innocence very well and hung up - no doubt we will be called by them again, that's this kind of company's MO.
