I received a call that sounded like an automated recording claiming that I had had unusual activity on my visa card. I believed it to be a scam call so I just hung up.

Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Got quite upset when I refused to give them the code
Missed call I woke up to a missed call from 8:39pm - in Australia. There was an 11 second voice message which sounded like a noisy pub but no one spoke directly for the voice message. I called back and it said the number wasn’t in service.

This number has rang me several times I think this the London company that called with man asking are you home owner or rental. Then he asked if flat had any dampness or other problems. There trying to get you to let them report the damage then you would get into trouble with council. They would be threatened with legal action. Next trick is no win no fee. Costing you around £400 if they don't win. They only take cases where they are over 80% chance of win . Scam to get your address and bank .

Silent call on answer, rang the number back, got an American female recorded voice about online appliance servicing and to leave details to be called back. Had to ring twice to work out what the recorded voice was saying as it was spoken quickly, to the point it seems designed that way to mislead. I suspect these are some kind of call-back scam. Calls have come after interacting with Estate agents online, before that nothing except years ago, when the same thing happened after dealing with estate

SPAM - Welsh man from call centre said he was from Protective Life (or something) told him I wasn't interested and to take me off his list. Started getting very aggressive and kept asking why and did I even know what the call was about. Told him not interested and he then got angry and called me a whore. Told him where to go and number blocked.

I answered, and right away, a robot with female voice started to say something about HMRC, penalty, and I remembered that I saw some reviews from another phone numbers saying about this kind of calls, pretended to be from HMRC. This phone number is from a fraud caller claiming to be FRANK GALLO SOLICITORS. They continued to explain how I have debt that is from companies who miss-sold credit. It was very convincing, and I didn't have any immediate concerns. They had details of a previous debt I owed and then reeled off some "bogus" loads I have never had.
