3 calls and silence.. Weird?

I get calls from this number every day on my mobile, sometimes twice or three times a day. I never give this number to anyone except close friends! They just called again even though I blocked their number. When I first answered weeks ago, they immediately ended the call. I m worried it s some kind of scam.

Don’t waste your breath talking to these people. Put the phone down on them immediately or if you are so minded, just tell them to **** off . . . they’ll get the idea.

At first I got quite scared when I started getting these calls. I have read a lot about telephone scams where they want to extract your financial data (Net banking PIN, Credit card details etc.) in the name of survey. For this reason I started declining calls from this number. Searching for the owner of this number on the web, I found out that this number belongs to a legitimate lead generation and lifestyle survey company named Simply Outbound. Received a call 16/10/19, and was immediately suspicious since it was from a mobile phone, and he sounded like a two-bit barrow boy or a second hand car dealer from the Essex/London border. Tried to get me into a conversation, and made a joke about my last name so I terminated the call.

Constant calls asking for my departed wife. I have been telling them for over a year not to call but they will not leave me alone. This is very upsetting.

Another financial company, this time asking about pensions. He mentioned the FSA a lot and new legislation coming in regarding admin fees. He sounded very plausible and asked what companies I had pensions with. I told him I wasn t interested and eventually, he ended the call. Blocked this contact now on my iPhone.
