I believe it's PPI. They have started to vary the numbers, but the dialing code is always a local one, so you think it's possibly someone you know.

and again the call. .. driving me mad. How do I charge these people with harassment!

Loads of calls no message ever left. tried to phone it back today and kept getting a message saying I was in queue position 1., didn t hold on for too long - is it just a premium rate dialler?

I got a text message about an O2 unpaid bill. I do not have an O2 mobile or account. Do not reply as you will get charge premium rate numbers or will get your bank details stolen!

Apparently calling on behalf of O2 as I am due an upgrade! O2 have no idea who they are. Checked their company website www.thephonespot.com and the people on phone haven t even got a clue of the phone number on the website!

Received a call, foreign voice said ringing about accident I d had. They managed to get my name, address and accident details and sent me an email which they wanted me to open and click on the attachment to provide authority for them to send out documents for me to claim compensation. I told them I didn t need to claim compensation as only very minor whip lash, however they were very insistent saying that didn t matter and I was entitled to £3000 compensation. When I started to ask questions I was passed to
