I receive a lot of calls like this and don't answer them now. They used a local code which made me think it was someone local but they are mostly cold callers.

TAXES / HMRC Potential scam. Recorded message asking you to press a number. I hung up.

I dnt answer numbers I dnt recognise but after reading the comments on here I've blocked them now thanks

The number 0800 852 190 has called me several times in recent months. During that time I have had numerous calls from people selling PPI reclaims, claims for accidents I did not actually have (!), a wine investment company a property investment company, and other calls, all of which sounded like scams or telesales speople. AT Marketing

Recorded voice talking about that there is a warrant out for my arrest due to tax evasion. This followed another call a few days prior from a different number claiming to be HMRC - another recorded voice telling me to press a button in order to speak to someone about my tax evasion and threatening with legal action/arrest if I didn't. Awful messages and probably quite frightening for someone elderly or vulnerable. Don't interact with the messages and block this number!

Debt collector, I think this is a check up call from Oxford TV licencing Enforcement Division to check if someone aged over 75 and still forced to buy a licence is still alive, The caller asks for you by name and when you say yes they make some excuse about not being able to hear properly saying they will call back later.

I had a call today telling me that I had a virus on my computer and that the caller could fix it - he had all my Talk Talk details. I asked him for a number so that I could verify he was genuine - he gave me the number 02031294098 - and the name Paul Watson - which was strange as he was Asian and that is a very English name! Anyway Talk Talk verified that they would never call with this information - so it is a scam - don`t give any information away.

50p a day for playmobi by Viasoft LTD. Theyve been stealing from me for nearly a month and a half and i didnt notice so nearly £20 gone. Text stop straight away or the robbin bastards will take your money!
