They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. this person called used the name of the person who answered ( my dad ) and when he questioned who he was the caller slammed the phone down.. re trace gave the number of 01271 42169 but when we rang it back it says it doesnt exist. Please can someone check on this person and stop this happening again

9.45 am. Asked for me by name. Asked where they got number."It came up on my screen". Said I was on TPS (what a waste of time that is) about to ask them to remove my name and they hung up.

Getting repeted calls upto three times a day all trying to tell me im entitled to ppi. Ive been patient, silent, rude but nothing seems to deter these people. Really think they should stop wasting their money on repeatedly calling the same number to get the same answer. Think next time I answer the phone ill answer it as department of internal fraud and see if that makes a difference. Im ex directory and am still puzzeled as to how they know my name.

called me 4 times this afternoon everytime i told them i was tps registered. each tiem they just hung up as soona s i mentioned it. on the last one i held off telling them about the tps and made up gibberish answers to their ridiculous survey and told them i was 452 years old and then dropped the tps bomb. Company name said choose lifestyle.

Didn t leave explanation as to why but told to ring the number and press opt one. Could still have been spam but it was the North Wales Hospital Board General Appointments Centre trying to contact me to book a test.
