At 9.59 today (13 Oct 21) a chap called Chris phoned saying he was from the Green Energy Centre London saying my loft insulation may well be causing condensation in my house. I could have a free survey and have the insulation replaced if it was unsuitable. When I asked for his Surname and the details of his company he put the phone down! What does that tell me? Absolute con. I googled the number for Argos in Norwich and got the 118469 number and thought it looked odd but dialled it to find it was a directory. They asked what number I wanted and I said oh I thought I was calling Argos. They said no but would you like the number so I said yes. Surely they gave an obligation to tell me I would be charged £7 to have it read out to me! A total scam and rip off.
