Just received a call from this number. Answered it, as I wondered who in San Antonio, Texas would be calling me. A very English lady in a recorded message said she was calling about PPI(!) Utter time wasters.

Just had a call from an English sounding lady (01543-630851) who stated she was ringing from Philips Legal Solutions of Lichfield, Staffs. She knew my name and ex-directory telephone number. She wanted to know if I had a Will, or wanted to take one out. She stated that her company was most reputable, to which I replied that if it was reputable it wouldn t be harrssing with cold calls. Another call from this fake number. Woman who gave her name as Alia from "Internet Savings" disconnected the call when challenged about the fake number that she was using.
This is a SCAM. Most domestic appliance insurances are D&G. These scammers get lucky, more often than not. They got lucky with me, initially, until they asked me to confirm my bank account direct debit details. You already have that on file, don?t you? Yes, but ... please tell us again. Yeah, right!
