Automated call received this afternoon I remained quiet for a few seconds to hear the words GOODBYE! I dialed the number back *with the 141 prefix The number was not recognised Make what you will by this encounter I certainly do not trust whoever was behind this 'call'
Very abrupt chap called Charles said he was from Domestic Appliances and would not let me get a word in edgeways. He said my appliances were no longer covered as my insurance had run out. I asked him which appliance had recently lapsed insurance - he wouldn't answer just said "are all your appliances in working order. I said I already had appliance cover - he put the phone down.

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive. Scammer Be Wary! Came to my house for someone that does not exist. Lied and said the court gave him my address. Yet I lived here for years and never received one court letter. Asked me to send personal and sensitive information over 'Whats App' Dodgy as hell! Clearly, a fraudster trying to make money for Christmas. Call the Police and report!
So far in the past week I have had 13 calls from these people. Thankfully I have a CPR Call Blocker fitted on my phone line, so now I don t even hear the phone ring. They do seem to be very persistent though. Hopefully they will realise soon they aren t going to get anywhere with my number and give up.

SCAM - I am getting this number call daily. I answered it today and a woman with a heavy Indian accent, told me she was from the Technical Department at Sky. Her report told her that suspicious activity was happening with my Sky router, but she could help me. I asked how how that could be, given I don't have Sky.... the line went silent

Just had a call from 01952 241140 - when I answered they took a few seconds to respond, suggesting a call centre. Claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted me to confirm I was the owner of this computer (I was on the phone not the computer but hey...) I confirmed it and then he asked the same question again but used my name. I confirmed it again and he hung up! Not sure what it was about but very wary.
