Crazy scam with an Asian guy trying to bamboozle me with tech-speak. Told me my ip address had been made public and should be switched back to private. I asked him to confirm my IP address 'so I could be sure we were talking about the same connection'. He said no one had my IP address. I asked him for a phone number to call back on and he hung up. Total scam - I don't even have BT broadband.

Call center Received call June 2022. Stated they were calling about a social housing repair scheme and were there any issues with damp, outstanding repairs. I told them I was not in social housing and they asked if I owned my home. I said yes (to get them off the phone) and they hung up. When you call the number back you get an automated message for a company In Debt Services Management (nothing to do with social housing repairs). Beware of this company (sounds like an overseas call centre)

If want to be removed you have to provide the following data in an email Name, Address, Telephone No ( and email ) or call them on 0179088285 Sounds like they have hacked some personal details and want you to provide the rest so they can sell details onto next set of scammers
