Likely scam. Number called twice. First time No one spoke. Second time they called from a danish number. A Woman speaking english claimed she was calling from New York about my internet. I hung up.
SCAM Text message recieved claiming to be Royal Mail requesting a surcharge fee. Royal Mail DO NOT send messages. They would leave you a grey card in your post box. Report and block the number
Keep getting calls from this number claiming to be some sort of recruitment agency, caller speaks in what seems to be an indian accent. Call line quality is very poor and when challenged to repeat what they say they become somewhat rude and agitated in their responses.
Didn’t recognise the number so left to go to answer service, no message left.

Just called, they hung up before answer phone picked up then seconds later rung again but this time (as we have caller display) it came up as International (first time did not) and once again the hung up before answer phone picked up
To the anonymous referring to the accent:I have never heard it - never pick up unknown numbers - but it comes as no great surprise to me.
Scam call said to be from BT. Indian male, delay on phone so not uk. Said problem with internet. I said no there isnt and ended call.
