This number cold called me regarding an ee phone contract. Can't say for sure it isn't legit, but I have my suspicions as it sounded like a foreign call centre and they had no reason to call me. Plus, according to this website, the number belongs to an electrical lighting manufacturer, not to ee. W@nkers!

Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.

I suspect a phishing attempt to collect personal information, debit card/bank info - caller hung up after saying "How does this offer sound to you" and I replied "I am fine as I am thank you", he repeated - "You are fine as you are" and call dropped.

But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. Silent call I have been rung around 10 times over 2 days feom this number. They hang up very quickly and it is not possible to ring them back. When I was quick enough to pick up their call, there was no one, so a silent call.
This site is so full if advertising it makes phone number lookup virtually impossible. There are many FAR BETTER search facilities than this one which quite frankly is almost useless.
