Tried to return the call and the number is “not recognised” have now blocked
Paid number This number appeared twice in my mobile phone bill as chargeable "Picture or Multimedia Messages". I have no idea who the number belongs to. This mobile phone is a "second phone" which has only been used to make one phone call and send one SMS text.- I've used it for data and local wifi data connections. I'm guessing there's an app or website I've used that somehow is sending these multimedia messages?

SCAM On answering got a pre-record of serious sounding older man stating there was an issue with my national insurance number and fraudulent activity and to press 1 for help (likely to a premium rate number) and to then sure to go and ask me to share my personal details. Definitely a scam.

Literally just received a call from this number about 17:45hrs then checked it here as I do with all Unkown numbers nowadays! Which is a pain in the *! I'm glad these sights exist to check a number as they will even call now with a mobile number! Which is frustrating as I have my own small business and I have gotten into the habit of letting all numbers I don't know go to voicemail and then check if they are safe or not? Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam

Wanted me to press 1 to keep my amazon prime active. Thing is I do not subscribe to amazon prime so 99% sure it was a scam. I checked with Amazon who said it was nothing to do with them. They have recorded that number as a scam caller so this number is definitely a scammers number.
