Weird. When I answered, a recorded message said that the caller is unable to take your call. I don t know if it is genuine or a scam but I have never had this happen before.
This number 01379 229618 phoned today claiming to be from BT open reach saying that someone was trying to access our broadband and they could sort it out and block unwanted call...

Guy with indian accent called himself "John" (obvious BS), said I was eligible for a replacement boiler under government scheme (like the Tories would do that). Told him I rent and don't have a boiler, he'd need to contact my estate agent. He had no idea what I was talking about. I repeated it a couple of times and in the end he gave up. Blocked the number so cannot comment on harrasment level but I am sure this is a scam.
