People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck. Some idea who is it?
Claimed to be from Tesco. Asked to confirm postcode and that my age was between 25-65. Didn't confirm anything. When I asked how he had my information he said it was on the Tesco database. Challenged this and told him that I would be pursuing Tesco through the the Information Commissioner as they were in breach of the General Data Protection Regulations.....very quickly hung up on me!! Automatic message - female voice - claiming to be HMRC who had been "trying to contact me", saying that they are filing a case against me, and asking me to press 1 to speak to my case officer. I didn't. Hung up, dialled 1471 and Googled the number, which brought me here. Bit scary, until I realised it's a scam.
SPAM This number is from a batch of similar numbers: 07488871703. 07488871758, 07488871735, 07488871757, 07488871649, 07488871624, 07488871560. Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.
