SUSPECT. I tried to call back, but the number was not recognised by the telephone system, so presumably was not genuine.
tried to talk to me about life insurance through assured mutual. even if they exist they won't get my business now....
This number has rung a few times but now gets intercepted by our BT Call Blocker phone. (There is a momentary beep, then a pause whilst the caller is asked by an automated message to state their name which is then recorded. If they do this the phone then rings and the system plays back the caller s name and we have the option to accept, reject or permanently block the caller). In the case of 01422 507247 they must just hang up, but ringing 1471 reveals their number, so they haven t even got the nous to w

The website is VERY genuine looking but its NOT HALIFAX and is a phishing site asking you to log in to your account. DO NOT TOUCH !!!

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - sometimes energy companies. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Hi I keep getting calls from 0191 397 3059. This is a scam call and trying to sell mis selling refund from banks. This has happened a couple of times and I wish to report them.

Has rung 3 or times a day for several days. Initially I refused to answer as it was an unknown number and never left a message. Then one brief message was left, merely asking for my name but not announcing who was calling, so I have answered twice since, thrash it out with them and get them to leave me alone but each time it has been total silence. A call centre in Bridgend, judging by the code.
