Recorded message purporting to be from Amazon. Apparently someone placed an order for an iPhone 12 on my account (the bold- faced cheek of some people, eh?) and somehow Amazon found this to be suspicious (probably because me and Jeff are really big buddies!) and wanted me to address it as they didn't want me to be out of pocket (to anyone other than themselves no doubt!). If I hadn't hung up, they'd have been asking for all kinds of personal detail of my account. But I hung up before they asked.
Hung up as soon as I answered. Given the amount of spam calls I am not risking calling them back

scammer saying saying returning phone call and then asking for details. blocked no. then persistent calls from Private no 10 times in ten minutes
this was a robotic voice, claiming they are from the HMRC and i had to call them back or legal proceedings will start and i will be called to Manchester Crown Court.
This number calls my mobile at least twice daily every day which is extremely irritating; however I never answer and they never leave a voicemail.... I think if it was a genuine call they would leave a message.
This number has phoned me multiple times but if I notice the call and answer it - the caller just hangs up instantly.
It was a dead call. It rang, I answered. Several seconds of silence later and the call dropped. Another site has a claim that it is a debt management company. I could not tell. Ringing and hanging up to encourage a call back seems to be on the rise. I would say that there is no reason to trust it.

Persistent nuisance calls with no reply when you pick up. I contacted Orange and they told me to report the harassment to the police which i did but they still haven t stopped. They clearly care nothing for the law. Orange did have an alternative which would cost me monthly but i could prevent that number calling me again. I shouldn t have to pay to not be victimised, who are they mafia?

Called me to discuss all info about my traffic accident which is non existent. I asked who NAC is and he said he d get to that then asked about my accident. I asked him to explain what happened as he had it all there. He told me to f*ck off and said he would slap me in the street if I spoke to him like that. Several missed calls from this Manchester number, with no message left. Many of the calls "after hours" i.e after 7pm. I don t know anyone in the Manchester area, also if it was a genuine call a message would be left. So in my opinion, this must be a scam call, as no message is ever left and many of the calls are before 9am and after 7pm. Annoying to say the least, these companies should be fined and banned.
