Well this is some landline from Manchester area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts : people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated, all the same 016176801xx) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different comapnies, but for sure some general call centre. People did someone answer it?

I said I did not know who he was and he said is that Mrs A of my address again and that he had just started work but it was given to him by a previous colleague. Absolutely wrong. I just hung up. After many calls from this number, I have asked them to remove me from their database. If I hear from them again I shall blow a whistle down the phone!
The question she asked (3 times despite me saying I need to end the call) required a yes or no answer and she was quite aggressive in tone. I have seen info on scam calls recording you saying yes to hack your bank, and this sprang to mind during the call.
