These calls seem to be from a company called health and home club. They may be affiliated with Ideal World. They just keep calling and hanging up when you answer. I have reported them to Ofcom as I have emailed their company online twice and they are still calling.

A few calls this week. Silent call - feels dodgy. When you pick up, there is silence on the other end, then there is a sound like they've hung up, but the call stays connected, so you have to end it or they can still hear you.

I called the help line 0800 085 095, of Santander my mortgage provider from my landline to make enquiries about the final payment of my mortgage. I was transferred to another line where it was suggested that I could make the final payment immediately by cards associated with my account. However the respondent was only able to give me the last 4 figures of two cards (one of which is discontinued) and asked me to enter the complete number via my keypad. when I answer a call from this number, they automatically dial another number which I would no doubt have to pay for if I did not hang up immediately. I hope these kind of calls can be stopped. I have, in the past, been called by the same method and have been charged for a premium rate number.
