They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. I was called by this number just now and the very rude man swore and called me lots of names and said he would do horrid things to me when are asked why he was calling, this number needs to be reported to the police.
They keep calling insisting I have been in an accident, I keep blocking number after number and they call from a new one every time - weekly, if not daily!

Guy called asking to speak to Mrs Jones. No Mrs Jones lives here so told them it was a wrong number. He just shouted OH MY GOD at me and put the phone down. This happens regularly.
