Indian male called me regarding computer equipment he said I had pre ordered to the tune of over £1000. From Amazon I never made any ordered. Highly dangerous scam.

The caller claimed to be from 02 and persistently addressed me by first name even after I'd asked her not to. The number was a Southampton number, but 02 are based in Slough and Leeds...

Said I won a prize and had to text win to 57721! Scam ?

These tried to ring my o2 phone today 04-05-2023 ive reported it to o2 as i know nobody from the liverpool area so they have no reason to be trying to call my mobile I answered it and they slammned the phone down on me but i won't be attempting to ring them back From today our prime minister has made all cold calls illegal so im hoping these types are stopped but not holding my breath because they think they are the law and can do as they want!

My girlfriend had the same letter, luckily I found this site and realised it was a scam. Thanks to everyone sharing there experience of this scam.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 08437132xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range? Don't call them back, it can be very expensive.

This number called me six times all there is is background noise and no one speaks. Suspect some kind of tel sales.

Received malicious phone calls several times with the same message. Recorded message saying phone and internet will be disconnected tomorrow as our IP address has been used to hack a government website (because thats believable). It said if we don't call an 0161 number (i didn't even bother getting the rest) our internet and phone line would be cut off despite saying the exact same thing the day before and surprise surprise im here using the internet right now? Blocked number being able to contact us again.
