Phone scam call - tells you they are from BT/ Ofcom and your broadband is being hacked from someone in Mountain View California. Gets you to lookup "1p address" on google to "prove" this (which is nonsense). Then to access deskroll.com so he can remote access your computer. I led him on a bit to find out what would happen, then told him what i thought of him... so he swore at me and put the phone down! lol

Received call from Indian sounding male, call centre environment. Said other people had been using my router. He did NOT ask to confirm my name address, account etc. I asked him many questions as I new it was a scam. He asked me to go to my computer. Silent call, I hung up after 30 seconds.
They have called me before claiming to be from the Health Department and today I explained that their number was flagged on my system as being reported as a regular nuisance caller. The number has again been reported.

Number claims to be from NHS stating I have been in contact with someone who has Omicron Variant and I must order a free PCR testing kit and left a link to claim it. I hadn t read comments until I told a friend of mine i had been for a hearing test around 5 month ago, and he advised me to read them. To my amazement its the same company i had dealt with. Sonia was polite on the initial call when asking criteria questions and when i declined to confirm my d.o.b she was happy for me to confirm this on the day. Last week i collected a cheque for just over £5,900. These guys are just doing their job, we know endless calls can be a nightmare. Keep up the good work.
