Tells me I have been identified has having and industrial injury and wants to act on my behalf. I have never had such an injury. The caller uses a Merthyr Tydfil dialling code but on interrogation turns out to be a call centre in Liverpool. I explain I am a member of TPS and don t wont to be cold called. Same call the next day!.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. Basically they re a fishing company, poorly-paid scammers doing blanket cold calling asking "have you had an accident in past 3 years" (citing they have bogus "information at hand") until, inevitably, someone says "yes". Cue then a selling job about how they can claim compo for you (for a % price). Not a scam; just a sad reflection of compensation culture and call-centre mentality. Hang up immediately; or if you want to be arsey, engage person in pointless conversation (though it isn t really his/her fault)

SCAMi had a number of calls and messages recently from this number 2 automated calls stating there going to go to a county court and 2 voice calls where a gentleman said he was from hmrc but couldn't speak very well English and started asking for my details to be able to tell me Any further info I said that this was not the hmrc number and he hung up I have now blocked this number

Someone from this number keeps calling me but does not leave a message. I put that down as very untrustworthy. Anyone who wants to speak to me would leave a message, rather than just calling and hanging up......
