Seems like an Indian call centre, have had a few missed calls from several number over the passed few days which I have blocked. They left a 20 second voicemail by mistake with them talking in Indian and laughing before realising that she was on voicemail and hung up. No company name offered, wouldn’t trust regardless. Especially as it appears to me a mobile number and not a landline

Didn t recognise the number so didn t answer. Triggered my voice message but no message left. However, reported by voice message as 0161 486 2922, which is a recognised problem number on this site.
When I asked for his full details so that I could check with bt he said "no problem" and hung up.

I can assure everyone it is Vodafone, it s a Rotherham code number 01709 , that is where the company Webhelp is based. Webhelp have a various of campaigns there, Vodafone being one of the best. I know this myself because I work there.. we only ask questions to do with your current account because we need you to confirm it, meaning we already now it. Still don t believe me?.. Look the number up on the Vodafone website instead of some lame little blog.

I didn t understand the man s name nor from which company he was calling, but he said something to the effect that I d get a refund for the bank charges I allegedly paid over the past few years. He then asked me about some personal information that he needed for the transaction. Seems like a scam - I wouldn t answer and just hung up.
