Just received this call which said that I had installed something on my home phone number which was sounds or something. I put the phone down and did no more but this is not something I have requested and I think could be dangerous. Sounded like a call center. Gentleman with an Indian accent. Calling from 'My Preferences' when I queried this he hung up. No idea what kind of call this was! But suspect a scam of some sort.

2 weeks ago I answered and a lady with very little knowledge in englsih talked to me. She could not say the company name or anything. I told her to delete my cell phone number completely and said I wasn t interested at all in anything she could say. Despite this that number has called me in average 2-3 times a day... for 2 weeks.. As there is no company name to be told - I suspect they re nothing but hackers.. But can t say for sure.

Some with a thick scandanavian accent called, something about a loft insulation survey to do with Health & Safety. He was very persistent and after 4/5 times of telling him that I wasn't interested and that Health & Safety was part of my job, he hung up!

Just been called by this number to inform me my emails are being used by someone in the usa and if I follow his instructions through my computer we can solve this together. Bloody nice chap! However I do know that once connected to your computer they can lock you out unless you make payments to them. SCAM me thinks.
